Lisa Jones
Lisa has worked within the field of strategic regeneration, economic development, skills and policy for over 25 years, initially working as a project manager at the WJEC before moving into local government.
She is now managing the work of the South East Wales Regional Engagement Team (RET) and leads Bridgend County Borough Council’s Regeneration Funding and Regional Engagement Team. The team focuses on the delivery of major external funding programmes and also manages key corporate work areas, including the Council’s EU Transition programme.
Lisa is currently supporting the development of a new hybrid service delivery model in Bridgend, building on the changes brought about as a result of the pandemic and contributing to the Council’s decarbonisation and digital strategies.
Lisa chairs the CCR RSP Local Authority Skills and Employability cluster group and sits on numerous other partnership structures on a regional and all Wales basis.
